Weekend in Poland – but where to flight?

European tourists are visiting more and more cities and countries in the globe, mainly thanks to cheap airline corporations. Nowadays we may go from one country to different one within several hours, and the prices for the tickets are very small. If you like to go for a bigger weekend to some nice place, perhaps you could consider Poland? There are many of pretty districts there, with a lot of history. Today we prepare for you two very fascinating places to explore – Gdansk, located on the seaside, or Cracow – next to the mountains, at the South of the country.

From a lot of the European huger cities, you should get really cheap flights to Krakow, depending on the term of your voyage. This spectacular city were capital of Poland, in Renaissance, when it was one of the most important royalty in the entire Europe. When you are a fan of beautiful architecture, you will feel here like heaven in here. At the beginning, the old town. A lot of pretty, Ancient and Baroque houses, and spectacular Medieval Cathedral at the center of it. Beside, you must to explore the Sukiennice, well example of merchant area from Middle Age era. But the largest monumentof Krakow is Royal Castle, likely. Situated at the top of the Wawel mountain, was named after it. Also, you can go to large cave, where legendary dragon use to live – based to the stories, of course. If you are Thinking about a trip during summer time, you definitely have to get flights to Gdansk. It is situated on the Baltic seaside, so you will be able admire nice weather at the beach. But this city is not only about the sun baths, it is also about history. It was district of Germany for a big period of time, when the most fascinating pieces of architecture appears here. You could notice many of rare example for Mannerism architecture, mainly at the old town. It use to be a very valuable trading town, because of the Baltic Sea, so you may notice here a lot of secular buildings, even from the Medieval period (look this). There are also couple of historical points, connected with World War Two history. Post office in Gdansk is famous for it brave fight at this time, when it was Independent city of Danzig. And during the night, you must definitely go for a beach party, to one of plenty of clubs located near the sea, it is amazing.

Poland is not only about the Wroclaw or Poznan, the most popular voyage destinations there. If you want to have fun at the seashore and have a taste of history in the same place, look for any flights to Gdansk. On the second hand, for those who are a big fans of Middle Ages and Italian architecture, Krakow would be correct place, with fairy dragon at the cave and so on.
